Always a time to brag…

I have a reason to brag today! My sister, Ashley, gave birth to a healthy baby boy last night. His name is Shawn Rashard Slaughter, Jr. He came in weighing 8lbs 5ozs. Whew, what a big boy!!! My sister did a great job! And although I was at home for the first night in the world, he will be in my arms for the second night! Yup, that’s right, as I’m posting I am sitting in LaGuardia Airport waiting for my plane to board. I’M ON MY WAY TO ATLANTA TO SEE MY BABY!!! And, when I get there, I AM GOING TO BLIND THE BABY WITH ALL OF THE PICS I AM GOING TO TAKE. Ok, maybe not blind him, but there will definitely be A LOT of pics taken. I promise to be careful with the flash. I mean, after all, this is my first time becoming an Auntie. My name is Auntie Amber!
