I am 27 years old, I must say....

As my sister Tyra wrote in my birthday card, "You are officially 27 years old". LOL, oh really? WORD!?!? I'm 27 years old now, and I must say...this was another birthday to remember! I didn't get to spend the day with my love, however, I have friends who would not allow any situation to get me down on my day!

NATASHA & OCEAN, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Plans changed, things didn't work out exactly the way they were supposed to, and I wasn't as happy as I should have been, so what do I do?? I go to meet my Natasha at her job, and we laugh and bash on men, then her boyfriend picks us up and takes us back into Brooklyn so we can have dinner (THANK YOU NATASHA'S ANGEL!!). We decided on BBQ's, since both of us were hungry we figured we'd eat what we know. We ate, laughed, ate, and laughed a whole lot more! Ocean met us down there shortly after we finished eating. We continued laughing for a couple more hours, remembering all of the time we spent together, laughing, cursing each other out, or me "running a gym like a sorority house without towels"...you won't get that, it's what Ocean said to me a while back when he was mad at me...he's a stinker!! We then went to a lounge in the meat packing district called Apartment. This was my first time there, but I LOVED IT!!!! It was sooooo my style!!! You can go there in whatever you want...I was in jeans, my Ugg boots, a t-shirt over a tank top, and a pashmina to keep me "warm", and they still let me in. A thousand cool points for them!! We had a few drinks on the main floor, then went downstairs for the hip hop music...ON POINT!!! No dance floor per say, but enough room to get your 2 step on, or the basics, and vibe to the music. JUST WHAT I NEEDED...A PLACE TO CHILL WITH FRIENDS, DRINKS, AND MUSIC. Since going out with them wasn't in my original plans, I didn't bring a camera, but Ocean and I took a couple of pics...Natasha was the picture taker, and she was also in her own world ;-).

It may not have been the way I originally planned for my birthday to be, but I couldn't have asked for a better alternate!!!
I love you 2 with all of my heart!! Thank you for coming through for me like you always do. YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE, YOU MAKE ME HAPPY WHEN SKIES ARE GRAY!!! (How's that for mush???) oxoxox
