Changing My Blogs

I want to make more money through my blogs, and it appears that the only way to do this is to leave Blogger and all of the other free hosts that I use, and have my own domain. I'm excited about the potential change, but what alarms me is how the switch over will go. I mean how does all of my past posts and formats roll over into my own domain? Or does it and I'm just thinking that it does? Any help out there would be greatly appreciated!!!
