Not News Worthy?

I spent a part of the day reading different articles on open.itworld.com. I was amazed to find that earlier in the month, about two weeks ago, UPS had a power outage. I guess it wasn’t CNN news worthy, but I found it interesting. It reminded me of what I used to do for companies I worked for. I worked in very inhuman conditions at certain times, but I never complained because it was my job and I loved my job. However, it was never appreciated. Anyway, what was amazing to me was that a company like UPS is still having power issues. There was no backup system while they were doing the power supply repair . What kind of company in 2007 doesn’t have a backup generator?
