Q & A

Q.) Why do people feel the need to think aloud?

A.) I really don't need to hear your EVERY THOUGHT! I understand that you have to work things out, and make sense of the things that you do. But, can you not talk to yourself in your head like everyone else does?

Q.) When you are in the car with someone, or just with someone for an extended period of time, is there a reason that the time that you have together must be filled with your voice?

A.) It is not necessary to talk ALL THE TIME! It's ok for us to just listen to silence...REALLY, IT'S OK!!! And then, it seems like your just making things up to talk about....IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS!!! JUST LISTEN TO THE DAMN MUSIC PLAY!!!

Q.) How long does it take a person to ask a question or make a statement?

A.) I don't need an explanation! Tell me what the point of the conversation is and get out of my face!

I don't know, Amber. I think aloud and even pray aloud. There are just some things that I can't figure out in my head. What's funny is that I can't say grace in my head. I have to mumble it. Otherwise, I lose track of what I said.

Perhaps I'm slower than most.

I think I was just venting with this post.
I have a friend who is working my LAST NERVE...thinking and praying aloud is one thing, I do it too...but, just talking to hear yourself talk, seriously, is so freaking annoying! I SWEAR HE JUST LIKES THE SOUND OF HIS OWN VOICE! I try to limit as much contact with him as possible. It could be me, but this time, I don't think so!
